Was voted out as Captain and replaced by Jack Rackham.  Soon thereafter, he was shipwrecked and captured by a passing British ship and sent to Port Royal, Jamacia for trial.    

Legend:

As a young apprentice, Vane was a favorite of Blackbeard's.  He partied with Blackbeard for a week on Ocracoke Island, North Carolina, which later became to be known as the largest pirate gathering ever on North American soil.  This was also the site of Blackbeard’s death.
